Transplantation TV covered the State-of-the-Art Address on Wednesday, July 30th at WTC 2014 at Moscone West in San Francisco, CA. The talk was delivered by Shinya Yamanaka, MD, PhD, Senior Investigator at the Gladstone Institutes and Director and Professor at the Center for iPS Cell Research and Applications (CIRA), Kyoto University and a Nobel Laureate. Dr. Yamanaka talked about characteristics of induced pluripotent stem cells. He also describes the future potential for these stem cells.
