Redefining Reproductive Biology Research
Cecil H. and Ida Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences, UT Southwestern Medical Center
The Cecil H. and Ida Green Center for Reproductive Biology Sciences at UT Southwestern Medical Center is working to redefine reproductive biology research by combining state-of-the-art methodology (such as genomics and bioinformatics) and a focus on molecular mechanisms with a broad view of the topic, including aspects of metabolism, inflammation, and stem cells. The center integrates basic science faculty who are developing new methods and technologies, and are working on the most fundamental mechanisms of modern biology with clinical faculty from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology who are asking questions directly related to human health, such as preterm delivery and cancers of the reproductive tract.
