Center for Social Equity through Science Education at George Mason University
Engaging All Students in Science Education
At the George Mason University’s CSE Squared Program, they focus on two things: research in how to improve teaching and learning in science and philanthropy to help students in need. They use different ways to help students who may not be science minded or even aware of ways of scientifically understanding the natural world around them. They study things like self-regulated learning and wonder as tools for inquiry and feel that you are more fully human if you can access different ways of knowing and science has a logical and systematic way of knowing – which can come in handy in life.
