Researchers at California State University East Bay have a specific, Interdisciplinary-based research and development agenda that focuses primarily on transforming K-20 science education. They know that science must be given the same priority treatment that math and English language arts receive in the way of instructional time and quality professional development and support. And so through successive grants, this team of collaborative researchers are connecting research and practice and developing critical thinkers in the classroom through transformative science teacher preparation, professional development, teaching practices, and learning opportunities and research.
