Addressing climate change requires new ‘sustainability’ knowledge as well as evidence-based practical reforms. It's how scholars at the South Asian Network for Development and Environmental Economics, or SANDEE, are approaching climate change. Their goal is to identify local problems and understand how incentives and institutions can be changed. Science and the Environment Channel heads to Kathmandu, Nepal, where SANDEE researchers can showcase how an amalgam of skills, knowledge and networks can help address problems emerging from climate change and contribute to sustainable development in South Asia.
