The local and national response to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill was extensive. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, along with partners and local communities committed to the natural resources pulled together to face this unprecedented challenge. Science and the Environment Channel takes a look how the spill has affected local habitats such as the brown pelicanís, and what still needs to be done to secure their survival.
