Precision Medicine for Neurological Disorders: The CNG at Weill Cornell
Recent advances in human genomics, imaging techniques, molecular and stem cell biology are enabling a new era of precision medicine for neurological conditions arising in children and adults. Neurological disease is increasingly understood as either a direct consequence of single gene mutation or the conspiring of genetic changes that predispose to illness. At the Center for Neurogenetics they investigate the genetic variation that leads to disorders of the nervous system, looking for answers to the diagnostic and therapeutic odyssey of patients and families seen in their center.
