Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, North Carolina State University

The Electrical & Computer Engineering Department at NC State University is using cutting-edge research to tackle major challenges in our society. The key strength of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering is the ability of its faculty to work together across disciplinary lines to address challenges such as energy, healthcare and security. NC State University is the only university in the United States with two National Science Foundation Engineering Research Centers, and a new DOE Advanced Manufacturing Institute on wide band gap materials and devices.
