Los Alamos National Science Center (Film 1)
Probing the universe and extreme materials with neutrons at LANSCE
The LANSCE team includes a diverse array of scientists all seeking to solve problems ranging from the fundamental to the applied. The enormous range of neutron energies generated by the uniquely flexible LANSCE facility, ranging from hundreds of MeV to hundreds of neV, are used for many basic and applied physics applications, from understanding the origins of the universe to seeing inside nuclear fuel rods and dinosaur fossils.
