APS TV 2021
Part of Canada’s Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), the Advanced Laser Light Source (ALLS) is a world-class research centre hosting wide variety of ultrafast light sources and end-stations for dynamic imaging and control in matter, particle acceleration and applications, and material processing.
ALLS enables top-research using all the frequencies of the coherent rainbow from infrared to very-high-energy and ultrashort-pulse X-rays. ALLS encourages international collaboration with scientists from all over the world with successful projects including a paper published in Science featuring researchers in Japan, Canada and the US. ALLS us supporting industry through.
ALLS is a user-facility, and open to users from academia and industry. ALLS is able to help its industry partners in innovation as well as technology transfer, as well as facilitating spin-out companies. ALLS is also supporting the training of graduate students and professionals in this field, enabling the next generation of researchers in ultrafast laser science.
