The Liverpool University Particle Physics Group is one of the largest in the UK and has a long history in nuclear and particle physics. A diverse team is involved in a large number of collaborations with international research facilities on three continents. The group works on the development of technologies, design and assembly of detectors and experiments including ATLAS, LHCb, DUNE, g-2, ARIADNE and MAGIS. Facilities available to researchers include the Liverpool Semiconductor Centre, a first class workshop producing custom parts and an Advance Materials Lab. Around 65 graduate students work with the group every year on fully funded PhDs.
