As one of only two medical schools in Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong is taking on some of the biggest mental health challenges in their region. They work across the full spectrum of psychiatry, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric psychiatry. They are deeply involved in community outreach programs in order bring awareness and treatment of mental illness into the mainstream for Hong Kong. They are conducting studies on sleep, depression, and functional MRI. They are focusing on utilizing exercise as tool to combat depression with their newly funded Exercise Center.
