In 2012, WebsEdge produced ICMAtv, in its 7th year, at the International City and County Managers Association's 98th annual meeting in Phoenix. The theme of the conference was Building Community: Rising to Seize the Opportunities. The conference offers the chance for local government professionals to network, share innovative practices, and provides opportunities for education and learning from best practice from around the country. Partnering for Excellence in Schools

City of Delray Beach, FL

When realtors complained homes in Delray Beach wouldn’t sell due to poor quality schools, the City partnered with the School District to raise the bar for education. The City invested over $10 million in education initiatives, becoming an education leader among Florida cities. Efforts include, among others, advocating Plumosa School of the Arts, relocating Atlantic High and adding new Career Academies, creating Principal for a Day business partnerships and Carver Middle School’s Morning Program. These efforts culminated in multiple School District Business Partnership Awards including: 2011 Silver; 2010 Hall of Fame, 2008 Gold
