The Pittsburgh Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases (PIND) is an interdepartmental, interdisciplinary center dedicated to investigating the causes of devastating illnesses such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Huntington’s Disease and ALS – and translating those findings into new treatments for use in the clinic. Integrating diverse experimental approaches and technical expertise, scientists at The PIND provide an open, collaborative environment for conducting cutting-edge research and for training PhD students and postdocs.
