Department of Earth Sciences, ETH Zurich, Switzerland

Earth Sciences play a major role in the world today – covering everything from climate change to hazard mitigation and the ability of the ocean to support life, it has the capacity to affect everything that we do. As a research focused organization, publicly funded by the Swiss Federation, ETH Zurich Department of Earth Sciences is committed to understanding all aspects of Geosciences and contributing to all these key questions. Looking at everything from the surface through to deep earth, ETH Zurich combines fieldwork with high technology to do this: ultimately for ETH Zurich, “the Earth is our Lab”.
