Going the Distance in Engineering Education

University of Maryland, Office of Advanced Engineering Education

The Office of Advanced Engineering and Education (OAEE) provides online programs and courses in various major and niche subjects within engineering. Online students are able to study a subject in a time that suites them and still have access to state of the art campus resources. Distance based learning allows students to stop, think and go back to parts of the lecture they may have missed and ask questions to their lecture in a live video environment, or via email. The OAEE caters to national and international students, given them the knowledge they need to succeed within their career.
