Announced last week (03/05/17) in front of 500 attendees, the European Association of Urology (EAU) was named the winner of Best TV Video Channel – EAU TV at the Association Awards in Vienna. Attracting over 60 nominations, EAU TV was one of only ten associations to be recognised during the 2017 International and European Association Awards Ceremony at Hofburg Imperial Palace.

Speaking on the award, WebsEdge CEO Stephen Horn said “We’re proud to work with European Association of Urology to produce EAU TV. The EAU is an important partner for us in Conference TV and delighted that it has been recognised by this award.”

Since its inaugural programme in 2015, EAU TV has grown from strength to strength and has attracted the attention of over 83,000 people – highlighting key issues and research in urology.

EAU Communications Manager Jarka Bloemberg said “This award is a great acknowledgement of the use of video to strengthen our leading position as an authority in urology. It feels like we have only yet begun and there are still some steps to take. This appreciation by the AAE is a great stimulation to continue with our video channel and explore new ways to raise awareness of urology.”
