The MarCom Awards has announced WebsEdge as a gold winner in the education institution – video category, titled The Fetal Heart Program by Cath Sheehan, Executive Producer at WebsEdge. Stephen Horn CEO of WebsEdge said “With video technology more widely used and accessible at peoples’ fingertips, it is great to be recognized for quality video production and reflects Cath’s hard work and commitment to creating this great educative film.”
Produced for the Center for Advanced Fetal Care at the University of Maryland Medical Center, The Fetal Heart Program film shows pregnant women and foetuses diagnosed with congenital heart disease. As part of the program, patients receive personalized prenatal care for their heart abnormalities, which significantly improve their health outcomes during pregnancy and after birth.
The Fetal Heart Program was filmed as part of ACOG TV a Conference TV production for the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) 2016 Annual Clinical and Scientific Meeting. Speaking about the film, Dr Chris Harman, Director for Maternal and Fetal Care at University of Maryland Medical Center said “The process was almost effortless, and we had great input. The finished product was professional, informative, concise, and truly showed our program in its best light. It’s a great vehicle for introducing and advertising our program.” ACOG TV debuted at this year’s annual meeting and will be returning again in 2017.
Conference TV captures issues and audiences, through the power of television and is broadcast at many association conferences around the world.
